Need. To Survive.

Things that are wrong with this exchange:

1. My mother suggests it’s been a “rough week.” This text was received mere hours after my dad was given a clean & clear pathology report post prostate cancer surgery.

2. My mother believes it to be a reasonable idea to turn on an electrical appliance that is designed to produce heat after dropping a foreign object made of plastic into it.

3. It is only a matter of time until this type of exchange happens between me and my daughter.
